Dr. Brittany Welch-Huston joined our veterinary team for her internship year from June 2015 –June 2016. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Welch-Huston is a New Hampshire native and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire. Her veterinary interests include colic, GI disease, and endocrine diseases. After her internship, she plans to continue her training and become board certified in Equine Internal Medicine. Dr. Welch-Huston grew up with Quarter Horses and showed all over the northeast until starting veterinary school. She still has her retired show horse, “Slick”. In her free time, she enjoys numerous outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking, and kayaking. Dr. Welch-Huston also enjoys taking it easy and enjoying a good book or quality time with family and friends. Her husband James is a Paramedic/Firefighter in Columbus, OH.
Dr. Welch-Huston is completing a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota.
