Haven Erengil, DVM
Intern Veterinarian
Dr. Haven Erengil was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She earned a BSA in Neuroscience, a BA in Plan II Honors (a liberal arts program), and a certificate in Spanish Language & Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. She spent time as a coxswain for the Longhorn NCAA Women’s Rowing Team, then rode in the hunter/jumper discipline as Captain for the Texas Equestrian IHSA Team for the remainder of her undergraduate career.
Dr. Erengil then obtained her DVM from Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she was an active member of the Student AAEP Chapter. Dr. Erengil has a special interest in Equine Internal Medicine - specifically neurology and neonatology - though she enjoys all aspects of equine practice. She is joined in Rhinebeck by her husband Michael, her high-school sweetheart, and their two mixed-breed dogs - Jessie and Poppy. In her free time, Dr. Erengil likes to read, drink coffee, crochet/knit, and hunt for wildflowers.
