We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Representative to join our Client Service team. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for our hospital doctors and their clients, while supporting our hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for clients by phone and in person; assess needs and facilitate appropriate next steps
Provide outstanding customer service with professionalism, empathy, and strong communication
Discuss billing clearly and comfortably with clients; process payments, collect deposits, and complete required paperwork
Enter and manage client and patient information accurately in our practice management system (HVMS)
Prepare invoices, calculate charges, and ensure accurate financial documentation
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members to support seamless hospital operations
Use proper equine terminology when interacting with clients and staff
Preferred Experience & Skills
Recent experience in an equine hospital or veterinary client service role (highly preferred)
Proficiency in computer use
Strong typing, billing, invoicing, and calculation skills
Developed client interaction and communication abilities
Knowledge of equine terminology is required
Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain composure in a dynamic setting
